Introducing Evita Nuh, the youngest fashion blogger of Indonesia. Evita is 12 years old now, but her passion for fashion is awesome! Even she has already had her own departmet store that sells her own brand, Little Nuh .
♥The crème de la crop♥ is a blog made by Evita when she was 9. The blog consists of Evita photographs and articles that are written in English. Here they are, some of my favorite photos on Evita's blog:
Some of my favorite blogs are written by Indonesian bloggers. Some of them are fashion bloggers and the rest are comedians.
I have a big enthusiasm in blogging, I feel free to write everything, telling others about my point of views and thoughts. One day, I found an interesting blog made by an Indonesian blogger. Call him Bena Kribo, he's very very VERY 'FUNNY'. He writes all posts in ibu kota style. Yes, something like 'loe-gue'. For those who don't know that kind of slang, it will be hard for you to understand his jokes.
Still, on a beautiful stressful day, I found one of Bena's old posts. It entertains me SO MUCH...
It is planking, the lying down game consists of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. The hands must touch the sides of the body and having a photograph of the participant taken and posted on the internet is an integral part of the game.
This is how he greets you on his blog
I'm having a beautiful morning in Surabaya, always. Actually this week is stressful for me. As a 9th semester university student, what I expect is to graduate soon.
Well, flashback. I won't call it a tragedy, let's call it a harmony of life. I chose to compose this thesis for a year, note! only for ONE YEAR. But it's feeling like a broken heart when we (me and the other two) knew that this Friday is the last day of the final exam registration. Yes, the academic calender is accelerated.
Feeling depressed, having no other choice except having one more semester, I wanted to eat some kinds of food. My appetite usually increases when I'm facing something stressful like this. Feeling curious about it, I get myself to know whether stress affects human appetite or not. Then, here is the answer...
A research in United States informs that a depressed person eats more than the others who are not. The research uses mice for the experiment. It shows that hormone ghrelin (having a role to increase appetite) was increasing when the mice felt depressed. Dr Jeffrey Zigman adds that a stress which affects our appetite depends on the hormone ghrelin signal.
Do you eat sushi? It might be a familiar food for you, especially for those who love Japanese dishes. I eat sushi too, sometimes. But, do you know what the ingredients contain?
Let's check the facts!
They say that...
Sushi contains mercury
Why? Salmon and Tuna are the ingredients which are used for sushi, and they contain high precentage of mercury. So, it's better for you not to eat them more than 150 grams per week. They also contain high percentage of fat, while we are only allowed to consume 600 grams of fat per week. The solution? is to eat the cooked salmon, not the sashimi. It will be better for you to choose other kinds of sushi, for example, sushi with eels as one of its ingredient, or tobiko (the eggs of flying fishes). Sushi also contains high precentage of salt which is found in Shoyu, the salty soya sauce. While we are allowed to consume it only about 6 grams per day.
It is good for your diet
The health experts inform that sushi is nutritious. A regular size sushi contains 350 grams of calories, while the fat percentage is low, it's only about 3,5 grams. If you are in diet, it's better for you to consume some kinds of sushi with seaweeds and pickled vegetables as their ingredients. Other ingredients are wasabi and chili powder which help our bodies increasing the metabolism. The combination of its seasonings also helps your diet. For example vinegar which is used in the process of making sushi, it inhibits the absorption of carbohydrates.
The brain cell is extremely influenced by glucose. This is why our brains work better when we consume some kinds of food which contain a lot of glucose such as milk & pie compared to junk-foods.
